With all the beautiful photos and encouraging stories, one submission made our hearts jump a little bit faster: that of Rebecca and Chris Photography, a photographer duo who were allowed to accompany the civil wedding of Lisa and Maik near Leipzig at the end of March. The resulting images capture exactly what is important – despite or especially during this time: the unconditional love of two people that defies every crisis.
Lisa and Maik originally planned a civil wedding with the family, followed by a wedding celebration. Due to the ban on contact, they finally married as a couple – and yet not alone. Because Lisa’s parents were there “live” via their smartphone. Especially nice: They dressed up especially for the circuit.
Lisa had to do the hair and make-up herself – and she shines as a beautiful bride in every single photo. Fortunately, the photo shoot was easy to implement with the safety distance maintained, because souvenir photos for the families were particularly important to the two. 
The resulting pictures are not only wonderful memories of a very special day, but also set an example for us. One for the fact that it is worth holding on to your own happiness – no matter how crazy the world is going.
