Fresh fish, gentle acidity and a touch of mustard – A dish with a surprising depth is created. The Berlin fish goulash is not difficult to prepare, but rich in flavors. Codthat disintegrates when braising, meets sweet onions, Tomato And a subtle Mustard notewho are with a little peppers and Lemon juice connects to a round taste.
The whole thing is braided briefly and finally with Fresh cucumber Sprinkled – an unusual but fine accent that gives the court fresh and texture. It does not need exotic ingredients and not a long cooking time to bring something special to the table.
This fish dish fits too Salz potatoes, white bread or simply pure with a spoon. Anyone who has tried it will be surprised at how well the combination of butter, mustard and fish harmonizes. A dish that tastes like a noon on the water – light, spicy and full of life.
We need these ingredients …
- 500 g codilet
- 70 g butter
- 2 onions
- 1 teaspoon of sweet peppers
- 1 eating spoon mustard
- 2 tomatoes
- 1/4 green cucumber
- Lemon juice
- Salt

And so it is done …
Roughly chop the onions, mix with a little salt, peppers and lemon juice and add them to the diced fish fillet. Braise everything in hot butter. Spread the tomato slices over it and pour over with mustard (mixed in water). Finally sprinkle with a small chopped green cucumber.
