After three weeks of adventures, here is my recommended checklist for packing winter clothes for Europe:
Heavy Coats: I went for a white oversized fluffy coat (the ultimate marshmallow!), a camel hair coat as a neutral option to pair with all my outfits, and a red coat for some color.
Pullover: I’ve chosen a white, cream, black and gray sweater to mix and match under the coats, as well as a super soft mustard yellow turtleneck to pair with the camel hair coat.
Long sleeve shirts: I wore these as underwear under sweaters on really cold days!
A pair of pants: Black fleece leggings are my favorite for cold weather destinations (you can wear them under jeans or pair them with tunics or sweater dresses). I also picked up a pair of black and light blue jeans!
A pair of shoes: I love boots so I brought dark brown heeled boots, a pair of black over the knee boots to pair with my black leggings and my black Doc Martin boots. I would like to mention that I had to take twice as many wool socks to stay warm in the Docs. What I didn’t have with me, but would have liked to have, was a comfortable pair of warm winter boots like these!
Accessories: My winter accessories included a black trimmed hat, earmuffs, a black/cream beanie, a comfy scarf and a pair of black and brown leather gloves.
Swimsuit: At least one bikini for thermal baths or hotel spa!
Handbag: I always take my camera bag or shoulder bag to use as a day bag!
