On the new trends – get set – go! – Hanuki Style – Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Blog

Hello dears, today I’m giving you a little preview of what the year 2023 will look like in the fashion world. We have taken a few trends from autumn into the new year. Of course, there are already a few predictions regarding colors from various fashion professionals.
Around six months in advance, all designers have to present their designs for the new season so that buyers in the big fashion stores can pre-order and manufacturers can produce. That’s why most of the fashion shows for spring are long overdue and you could already learn a few trends at the shows. And if many now say, “I’m not interested in all the fashion hype,” then maybe that’s not quite right, because the choice of clothes says a lot about us. Even if we don’t have to follow every hype, we express our mood with our clothes and send a message. So fashion is not just fast fashion or some frills, we use it to communicate and show who we are. I have loved fashion since I was a child and there is nothing more beautiful for me. You can read about clothing and mood here.
Of course, I don’t personally follow all shows and I don’t follow every trend that comes around the corner, but it’s interesting to look left and right. If you love fashion, then you are happy about new color trends, new cuts, materials or patterns.
The first fashion trend we should have on our radar for spring is Glitter and glamour. Glittering bags, shoes, dresses and sequins will also be worn in everyday life in 2023. Particularly Silver is trending in spring. I’m already flirting with silver ankle boots or really cool metallic boots. So if you would like to stride through everyday life as a glitter queen, 2023 will be all the rage. I think a little glamor never hurt us girls, right?

The next trend was already announced in the summer and autumn of last year – mesh! The transparent material has been seen in stores everywhere for a few months. I’ve got two too mesh tops and find this trend super exciting. Delicate, transparent fabrics nestle ingeniously close to the wearer and you can decide for yourself how much you want to give (just a lace bra or a top?!) or just a mesh top under a dress. Super cool! Dresses in mesh fabrics that already have a sewn-in and color-coordinated underskirt are also very popular in spring. Most of the time, these are also very tight-fitting and sexy. Overall we will see a lot of “transparency” in the clothing. Blouses and dresses with transparent sleeves or with tulle could be seen at all fashion shows. Definitely a – no – two thumbs up from me!!!
My favorite Neo Noir mesh top.

The third trend is satin. Shiny fabrics will be everywhere in stores this spring. Short ones are particularly popular silky, iridescent bomber jackets. Luckily I already own a shiny bomber jacket and can finally bring it back from its exile.
The fourth cool trend are suit vests. You can take the trend to extremes by wearing the waistcoat with a full suit. Combine it with feminine stilettos and a light blouse so as not to look too masculine. Only half a thumbs up from me, I’m not really in the mood for this trend yet (but that’s also because masculine styles don’t suit me at all).
So, the fifth and most important trend of 2023 is a comeback from the nineties. I remember boy bands and girl bands in huge cargo pants and crop tops. Yes, dear ones, these Baggy trousers with practical functional pockets we now wear again in the style of the 90s pop icons. If that’s too freaky for you, you can of course shop for the more reduced and elegant models (e.g. from Max Mara or Marc Cain). To be honest, I bought a pair of cargo pants back in November, but I haven’t really warmed to them yet. In the 90s I almost exclusively wore baggy pants and oversized hoodies (because I was full of grunge fever and adored Kurt Cobain). And we should leave a crop top to the girls up to twenty. So for me that means: cargo pants in an elegant design YES and crop tops – NO.

Without colour, everything is grey, so here are the color trends for 2023:
Live Magenta – Pink is out and we are wearing Viva Magenta now!! This color was chosen by Pantone as the color code 18-1750 and is described as: “Vibrant with verve and power, a hue rooted in nature and derived from the red family, demonstrating a new signal of strength .”
spring crocus – A very light purple tone, suitable for spring, is in the starting blocks and is waiting for its appearance. The color is definitely not to everyone’s taste, but it suits spring types with fair complexions quite well and I like it too. If you have a darker complexion, it is better to go for a darker purple.

Green – Yes, just Grüüüüün! In all variants. Girls, you can’t avoid it this year! We are already seeing a lot of green in the stores and there will be more. The fresh shade puts you in a good mood and is often combined with white and other shades of green. Bags now also shine in green and are worn as a color statement with simple basic outfits. A thumbs up from me!
