Especially not if you want to braid your own hair. However, with a bit of desire and a little patience, it will definitely work. And with the following super uncomplicated braided hairstyles, even absolute beginners can do it. Have fun imitating!
1. French braid
A real evergreen when it comes to simple braided hairstyles. This braid has such a beautiful texture that you will fall in love with it immediately. It looks incredibly chic and feminine both tightly and loosely braided. Especially if you have highlights in your hair, they conjure up an unbeatable, beautiful look in a braid. It is worked with three strands.
Start at the top of your head and divide the top section of hair into three even strands. These are then braided into each other, with new strands of hair coming from the left and right sides, which are placed on the middle strand.
2. Dutch double braid
This charming braided hairstyle with a rustic aftertaste is reminiscent of the French braid. The difference here is not only the number of braids, but also the fact that when braiding, you lay the hair strands a bit differently. Namely, you start again from the right, but first put the right strand of hair not over the middle, but under it. In this case, instead of making one braid, you simply make two smaller ones.
3.Mermaid Braid
Although this gorgeous braid looks quite complicated and elaborate, it is not at all. You just do it like this:
Separate the top section of hair and secure with an elastic band. Then braid it into a simple three strand braid and secure it with an elastic band. If desired, leave some strands of hair loose to frame your face nicely. Now, with the help of a hair curler, twist a curl on one side and loop it through the base of the braid. Do the same on the other side. Make another curl below the top section of hair, twist the curl into a braid and now pass it through the middle of the braid. Repeat the steps four to six times, continuing to the end of the braid. Secure the braid together with a hair tie. Your fairytale mermaid look is ready!
4. Simple Fake Braid
A great optical illusion! A light and not really braided hairstyle. For this fake braid you only need a few more thin, transparent hair ties. You start by again parting the top section of hair from the rest of your hair and tying it into a ponytail at the back of your head. Just below, tie another ponytail by taking some strands of hair from the two sides as well. Now split the top ponytail in two and secure the bottom one with a hair tie. This is how the first braid knot is formed. Work your way down like this and secure the end of the braid with a hair tie as well.
5. Bun from braid
It’s as easy as it looks! You do a French or Dutch braid and instead of letting it hang loose, twist the ends inwards toward the head. Then secure the bun with a couple of bobby pins. Finished!
6. Braided Low Bun
Start with a ponytail for this elegant braided hairstyle. Braid a classic braid out of three strands of hair and twist them around the base of the ponytail. As with many other hairstyles, secure the whole thing back with two, three bobby pins or simple bobby pins.

For super beginners, this braided boho bun is probably a bit complicated, but totally doable. You divide your hair into four equal sections and start braiding a little more down horizontally. The principle is: the right strand comes through all three to the left. First on top and then below. Repeat two or three times, tie with a hair tie and loosen up the strands a bit. Simply twist the braid towards the head and form it into a bun. Secure additionally with bobby pins.
