Of course, I don’t miss a week’s short vacation in Ibiza to discover the best food hotspots on the island. Even though 1 week is relatively short, I still have some great recommendations for you from beach bars, fancy cafes to great farm-to-table restaurants on the island. Of course everything with a focus on a balanced and healthy diet 😉
The Atzaro is a beautiful spa and wellness hotel in the middle of Ibiza with a restaurant with a farm-to-fork concept. In the Atzaro Restaurant there is plenty of Mediterranean food that is grown and harvested directly in your own garden or fresh food from the region. My favorites: the vegetable plate with fresh vegetables from the garden or the sea bass on carrot-vanilla puree and black rice. Absolute taste explosion!
But the breakfast was also very tasty. My favorite: The porridge with fruit and a green or red juice. However, I would have expected slightly larger portions of the acai bowl or chia pudding 😉

Atzaro also includes the Atzaro Beach Club and the Atzaro Chiringuito Beach Cafe. Both are also highly recommended. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of the food here. Both are excellent locations for lunch and for spending time on the beach.

Aubergine – Country Restaurant by Atzaro
Aubergine also belongs to Atzaro. A small restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. This is also a typical small country-chic farm-to-table Ibiza restaurant with fresh and healthy dishes from their own garden or the region. Highly recommend the salads and juices.
nº74 L’atelier Ibiza
Also in the heart of Ibiza is the nº74 L’atelier Ibiza – a small creative cafe for lunch and breakfast, for shopping or to let off steam creatively in one of the workshops from ceramics course, knitting course to hand lettering course. But the absolute highlight here: the breakfast! In love with the raspberry quinoa porridge and the peanut porridge. Super yummy! The town of Santa Gertrudis also invites you to linger longer and browse through a variety of shops.

Also in the village of Santa Gertrudis, just a few minutes’ walk from nº74 L’atelier Ibiza, there is the small Cafe Wild Beets with raw, vegan and plant-based cuisine. Absolute recommendation for all healthy foodie fanatics. Especially the drinks. Creative superfood smoothies and juices with great ingredients. Our favorites include the Nurture Juice with carrot, sweet potato, turmeric, lemon and ginger or the Fountain of Youth Smoothie with blueberry, banana, coconut and astragalus. Yum Yum!
The breakfast menu also sounded promising, but unfortunately we didn’t make it here again 🙁

There is also another highly recommended farm-to-table restaurant in the middle of Ibiza: La Paloma. Fresh Mediterranean cuisine in a magical ambience in the middle of nature. Unfortunately, in the end it was too dark to take photos of the food 🙁 It was still delicious and that’s why this recommendation shouldn’t be missed here 🙂

Let’s now work our way further to the south of Ibiza. Not far from Ibiza Town you can eat al fresco at Casa Maca in a charming, rural setting with views of the city and the sea. Another farm-to-table restaurant including hotel. But this time with a very special flair and a beautiful ambience that completely captivates you. Food prepared fresh from the grill surrounded by vegetable and herb gardens that invite you to take a walk and enjoy relaxed chillout music. But be careful! Be sure to reserve in advance!

You can also stay overnight in the hotel: check availability at Booking.com
The best breakfast besides the nº74 L’atelier Ibiza and the Passion was at the Beachouse Ibiza right on the beach in Playa den Bossa. A great beach club with healthy food and chilled out sound! It’s worth arriving early for the best seats (day beds cost extra, but the couch also invites you to stay longer 😉 ). But arriving early is absolutely no problem here, because I can highly recommend the free yoga class from 9:15 a.m. in the Beachouse right on the beach. There’s no better way to start the day 🙂

Delicious, healthy and quick food with great value for money is available at the Passion Pantry & Juicery, an organic snack bar with several branches across Ibiza. Super delicious breakfast, yummy bowls and curries for lunch and a great selection of juices, smoothies and iced teas free of sugar.

Hostal La Torre
Another hotel and restaurant recommendation is the Hostal La Torre in Sant Antoni, right in a small bay with an excellent view of the sunset. A fantastically beautiful location with delicious food.

More foodie tips
Cala Gracioneta: a small restaurant right in a wonderful little bay in Sant Antoni that is a must-see. Walking distance from Hostal La Torre.
Chiringuito de Cala Escondida: Isolated from the main beach of Cala Conta, Cala Escondida is a beautiful little bay to spend the whole day. The small on-site restaurant offers simple but delicious food such as curry, falafel and hummus. One of my favorite bays in Ibiza 🙂
La Finca Plaza: another Mediterranean restaurant in Santa Gertrudis right in the heart of the island, which has been recommended to me several times for dinner.
Nagai: Delicious sushi in the middle of Ibiza in a beautiful atmosphere and with live music.
The Giri Cafe: Top location for breakfast, lunch & dinner in the north of Ibiza, which was recommended to us by several people, but unfortunately we couldn’t make it 🙁
And if you have any other tips, please let me know in the comments. I’m definitely looking forward to more foodie discoveries on our next visit 😉
