A start to the 2023 school year dedicated to life-saving beauty products that help us get through the pill a little easier! It’s time to come to terms with it, it’s mid-September and summer is slowly fading away (even if the temperatures are still high). My little tip to get better? Simply take care of yourself. And the 3 little beauty nuggets that I’m going to present to you today help me personally to have good days every day. These are products that I found on MyOrigins and they have simply been my must-haves for (for some) years!
Let’s go for the presentations.
Tangle Teezer The Wet Detangler Hairbrush

This brand has been part of my life for… more than 10 years? I started by buying the famous little brushes which close and can be taken anywhere very easily. Then this model (the black one above) came out and I definitely adopted it. I have one as a backup, I gave some to some of my friends and family (even my son has one!) In short, I am a Tangle Teezer addict.
The big plus of these brushes?
They detangle hair perfectly without hurting. Never. And that’s still a big advantage compared to “simple” brushes that pull and tear out hair. They are also ideal in the shower to distribute treatments throughout the hair.
Some models have also been designed for blow-drying (they let air through the middle) in short, if you don’t yet know this brand: go for it!
My model: €11.92 at MyOrigines (instead of €21)
Shu Uemura “Art of hair” Absolute Essence Universal hair and body balm

I’ve known Shu Uemura for over 20 years, thanks to the cult cleansing oil that my then-boyfriend brought me from Japan (and which had become an obsession).
I have since discovered their hair range at my hairdresser and I regularly bought their shampoo for colored hair which I found really great (the “Color Luster”).
Having had hair problems in recent months (it is ultra dry) I wanted to test this universal balm which seemed to have all the qualities.
A product for the hair but also for the body, to apply to all dry parts in fact: from hair to hands, cuticles, dry patches, everywhere you need it!
When I received it, its smell already transported me. A floral scent that is not overpowering, ultra luxurious, a joy. Then I saw its balm texture which is both consistent and liquefies very quickly upon contact with the skin or hair.
It’s ultra hydrating without being greasy, it rehydrates every very dry part of my body and feels wonderful on my hair. I put a large amount in my hands, I rub them then put some in my hair by “scrunching” it (in my waves or after blow-drying).
I became addicted, I put it on absolutely every day and its generous format allows you to keep it for a long time and really use it whenever you need or want it!
A marvel that I know I will buy again without batting an eyelid!
Its price: 39.12 instead of 53.60€ (sold out for the moment, keep an eye out for a return to stock)

Well, you know my attachment to this American brand whose merits I have been praising for at least 5 or 6 years now. It Cosmetics is the American brand that created, among other things, the most popular CC cream on the market.
But it’s the “nude glow” version that is my favorite of all. Since its release, I have left the others aside and I wear it absolutely all the time as it gives a perfect and radiant complexion, regardless of the number of hours of sleep I have on the clock (hello insomnia).
This complexion product is made from 90% skincare ingredients and contains an SPF of 40, which is always very good news.
It gives a super fresh and radiant complexion, without a greasy effect. It’s my favorite above all the others, I’m on my second hit and it’s not ready to be dethroned. It has light to medium coverage (lighter than the classic version) and that’s precisely what I love about it. Almost imperceptible, pleasant to wear, holds well, an absolute gem.
Do you know the CC+ Nude Glow? Honestly, try it, let me know, it’s TOP.
Its price: 35€ instead of 47€
That’s it for my 3 back-to-school essentials and much more!
I hope you’ll give it a try and let me know what you think!
See you soon !
