All watch lovers have already thought about the watch they are going to give themselves or be given for their 50th birthday. For Pequignet, it’s this year! The French watchmaking company was founded in 1973, led by Emile Péquignet, who wanted to bring watchmaking closer to jewelry, particularly in response to the growing appetite of the female public for watches to be worn like jewelry. In 2023, became Living Heritage Company, still based in its stronghold in Morteau, it is therefore celebrating the half-century marked, among other things, by the launch, a dozen years ago, of a manufacturing movement designed and assembled in France. For the occasion, Pequignet presents the “Concorde” model, which is the spearhead of French luxury watchmaking.
