Paprika carrots (finger food for Easter)

Lust for a brilliant, but very simple Finger food Idea for Easter?

We simply fill snack peppers with cream cheese and decorate with parsley-the funny “carrots” are ready.

The eye-catcher at the Easter brunch buffet and also a real highlight for children!

Ingredients

For the “paprika carrots” you only need 3 main ingredients:

  • Paprika: Use orange mini peppers, often also referred to as “snack paprika”. You can often find them in a pack of red, yellow and orange snack peppers.
  • Cream cheese: As a filling, we simply use normal cream cheese. You can use a fat level of your choice here. You can find alternatives below.
  • Parsley: After all, we still need parsley as “carrot green”. Here, too, you will find alternative ideas.

Then just cress and some pepper to decorate – that’s it. Really super simple, right?

Variation ideas

My basic recipe is deliberately kept very simple. Here are a few more ideas on how you can vary or replace the individual ingredients:

  • Of course you can also yellow or red Mini-pepper use.
  • If you don’t find a snack pepper at all, you can also have a normal one if necessary Large orange pepper Use and cut them into elongated triangles. Can not be filled so nicely, but somehow spread.
  • Instead of the Cream-cheese filling Can you also use fresh herbal cheese, herbal curd or hummus, for example. The latter is also a great vegetable alternative.
  • As “Carrot green“Can you also use smooth parsley, dill or real carrot green.
