Spiderman swings through the city on cob threads. Wonder Woman can fly and Thor has his magic hammer. But a SuperMom has all of its abilities in its pocket. Here we introduce you to seven of her incredible skills, even though we all know that a SuperMom can do a lot more.
1. Super healing powers
We all know it from our childhood: You fall from a tree while climbing, step on a Lego brick or get a scratch or two while skateboarding. With a superbussi from SuperMom and her comforting words, everything is only half as bad and the pain is forgotten in no time. Especially when it comes to heartbreak, we can always count on mom’s super healing powers.
2. Read minds
Have you never heard the question “What are you thinking?” From your mom? That may be because she already knows. Every twitch of the eyebrow, every gesture, no matter how small, is interpreted correctly. So don’t even try to hide something from your mom. There is hardly a person who knows you better and can read your mind better.
3. Ultra hearing
As a teen, you come home from partying at 3:30 and try to be as quiet as possible so as not to wake anyone up. No chance: Mama will hear you even if she has already slept and will remind you that you have agreed something else.
4. Super Finder Gene
“Mom, where is my gym bag?”, “Mom, did you see my cell phone somewhere?” Or “Mom, I can’t find my key” are sentences that sound familiar to all of us. Fortunately, things were never really gone, just in a place mom found with her super finder gene.
5. Eagle eyes
You secretly try to slip the beautiful cashmere sweater from mum’s wardrobe into yours or you want to steal a praline from the box she was given, and it is in the door as if she had suspected it. She sees everything with her eagle eyes.
Work, always keep an eye on what the children are up to, organize family activities, do household chores and then plan enough me-time. We don’t know how, but SuperMom gets it all under one roof.
7. Lie detector
“Mom, I’m fine” is probably the most common lie we try to tell our mothers. Why actually? Most of the time she asks in disbelief: “Really?” And then we tell her everything that worries us anyway.
It’s just amazing how mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, stepmothers and adoptive mothers manage to manage it all. We take off our hats and wish all the SuperMoms out there a wonderful Mother’s Day!
