If you follow Fräulein K on Instagram, you had the opportunity to at least digitally sniff the Baltic Sea air last week. We were in Ahrenshoop on the beautiful Darß. Fischland, Darß and Zingst form a peninsula east of Rostock and are among the most beautiful spots I know in Germany.

Let’s just plan a perfect wedding day! Perhaps for a smaller wedding party who would like to celebrate the civil ceremony here.

The hotel THE GRAND is only a stone’s throw away from the beach and will probably cast its spell over you just as we were excited about it. It is this special atmosphere that you feel when you enter the lobby or, at the latest, when you are warmly welcomed.

After getting ready at THE GRAND, you gallantly walk a few minutes to the sea mark. These steps of anticipation that you already share with your guests are so valuable! They take the speed out of the day that flies by quickly anyway.

At the sea mark you have several options for your wedding ceremony: the most romantic is certainly the one on the white Baltic Sea beach, on which a piece is reserved for you.

Alternatively, you can use the beautiful garden of the sea mark. The reception can also take place in it, it is located directly behind the dunes.

Wedding location: Celebrate in style in the evening sun

After saying yes and being received at the sea mark, your guests can enjoy a walk on the beach or a carriage ride through the town while you take a few photos.

In the light of the late afternoon, the company meets again at THE GRAND to celebrate the wonderful occasion. Depending on the number and taste, there are several options available to you.

The view from the roof terrace of the restaurant is exhilarating. A sundowner and a delicious menu are just two of the highlights that await you.

The spacious lobby with a large panorama window is also ideal for a celebration.

The place that triggered a downright wedding-head cinema for me was the beautiful terrace between the two main buildings. It is set back a little, sheltered from the wind and made for a long table with lots of candles and fairy lights …

And, do you fancy a wedding or just a few days at beautiful Darß? There is so much to experience and the landscape is so beautiful! You shouldn’t miss the west beach. Or a tour to the lighthouse by bike or a trip by ship on the lagoon, the inland water. You have to drink teas and eat delicious cakes. Fish too, of course, and take a long walk on the beach and marvel at the cute houses …
