Petals and drops of essential oils are often used for bath bombs. Depending on the season, you can experiment with rose, jasmine, or lavender blossoms. All three can be found in many gardens and the lavender is easy to dry for the winter. The scent of spruce needles is intuitively or consciously preferred right now in winter, just like all citrus aromas. Mint leaves are easy to get and you can feel the cooling refreshment with them. Woodruff and geranium can also make the bath water pleasantly bubble if you mix them into the basic ingredients.

How can you make bath chocolates yourself?
In some of the previous articles we reported how it is possible to make bath salts or even soap yourself. It is now the turn of the bath chocolates and this is where the practical implementation comes in.
In order to be able to make bath chocolates yourself, you need a suitable form and the following ingredients, which make about 15 pieces:
- 500 g cream of tartar (or baking powder)
- 250ml citric acid
- 100 g (cornstarch or other starch)
- 100g vegetable fat (e.g. coconut oil, cocoa or shea butter, jojoba, olive or almond oil)
You can create funny bath bombs for every occasion
Baking powder, citric acid and the cornstarch are mixed together in a dry bowl. Danger! A single drop of water causes the mass to foam. So please pay attention!
Now you can heat the selected oil in a water bath and add it to the other ingredients while stirring constantly. It should be a smooth and viscous mass.
From now on you can get creative. Think about what scents or colors you want your bath chocolates to have. Carefully add a maximum of 15 drops of an essential oil and petals of your choice. The dried rose or lavender petals are long-lasting and promise luxurious pampering and complete relaxation!
