This time, the Bloomen of the Week received an exceptional note from the Allium Schubertii, also called hedgehog leek or Schubert’s leek. Even from a distance, the leek plant looks like a delicate pink sparkler, from the inside of which the tiny, star-shaped flowers seem to explode like fireworks. The spherical head of the plant can reach the size of a football and with a height of up to 60cm the Allium Schubertii is a real eye-catcher. The unusual plant, which originally comes from the Middle East, loves sunlight and should it dry up at some point, it is still suitable as a particularly beautiful decorative object.

In addition to the Allium Schubertii, the Bella Rosa, a popular variety of rose. The elegant flowers are particularly dense around the yellow center and stand out with their pastel pink color. But what would a rose be without its scent? The flowers of Bella Rosa envelop the room in a delicate scent of wild rose and look wonderfully romantic!

The joins the pink color front Carex Green Sparkler, and gives the combination an almost exotic nuance. The plant, which can be striped from green to green-white, is one of the so-called sedges that made themselves comfortable on the planet 30 million years ago. The Carex Green Sparkler is therefore a real prehistoric relic, so it is not very surprising that the plant is considered to be particularly resistant and adaptable! The green, palm-like leaves reach up to 120cm, depending on the type of sedge, and grow in an arc from the center of the plant.

In combination with the pink-purple roses and the delicate flowers of the Allium Schubertii, our flowers of the week make a magical and unusual arrangement.
