Get married, build a house, plant a tree and have a child. This is often brought together in a figurative sense. At least you could combine the wedding and the tree at the wedding ceremony. It is a very nice ritual as the bride and groom to plant a tree together during the wedding. In this post we will tell you what you need for this and how exactly this works.
A free wedding has the great advantage that it can be designed exactly according to the wishes of the bride and groom. Various rituals, such as the stone ritual, the braided bond of love or even a tree ritual can be included in the process.

Tree ritual for the wedding ceremony
The tree to be planted at the wedding should reflect the common marriage, because marriage, too, takes root and grows. But the ritual is not just for the bride and groom alone. The guests can also be involved.
If your guests have a pendant and a pen on each seat, they could write down wishes for the bride and groom on this. After the wedding, the guests can hang the small pendants on the tree.
You don’t really need much for this idea:
Plant a tree during the wedding
So that your guests also know what to do with the small pendant and pen, it would be helpful if your wedding speaker briefed your guests on the ritual. The perfect time for this is as soon as all guests are seated, but the wedding has not yet started. So everyone still has enough time to write something down.
The common tree should already be in the designated pot with some soil. Next to it a vessel with additional soil.
During the ritual, the bride and groom should each add some soil to the pot. Make sure that the soil in the vessel is very loose, so that you as the bride and groom can simply put it in the pot. Of course, don’t use your hands to avoid getting dirty. If necessary, a spoon could be available for emergencies.
