Sustainable advent calendars for children – Miss K. says yes

For this year we have set ourselves the goal of developing sustainable advent calendars for children and adults. The time of unnecessary little things that end up just lying around at home and not needed anyway should be over for good. In addition, there should be as little packaging waste as possible. People like to use our advent calendars again and again every year!

What is a fair and sustainable advent calendar?
The term ‘sustainability’ is often used in an inflationary way. For our advent calendars it means that you can use them over and over again for several years and that they are environmentally friendly, at best made from renewable raw materials and produced in Germany.
In addition, it is important to us to work with companies from Germany that are fairly and fairly remunerated. Only those who can work freely and creatively can create something beautiful. This is how we live it and this is how we would like to make it possible for our partners.
Ultimately, a sustainable calendar is also one that you like to use multiple times. Which becomes a treasure that one looks forward to every year or that is also happy to pass it on to others.

Design, production and manufacturing in Germany
Since we have been designing and producing our own products, we have attached great importance to production in Germany. We pay particular attention to these points
- Recycled paper or certified paper for printing
- Regional printing company with short transport routes
- Wood from Germany and Europe
- Resource-saving Production on demand
- No plastic in the packaging

Sustainable advent calendar for children with personalization
An advent calendar becomes really stable if it is personalized with the child’s name. You have the option of having your name engraved on our advent calendars.
For the countdown calendar, we engrave it on the bracket. The advent calendar holder made of solid wood receives an individualized engraving. Small fabric bags can be attached to it.
The card holder for the 24 postcards of the winter children’s advent calendar is also engraved with the name.
A wonderful and valuable gift!

Gifts for the advent calendar
What do you put in the calendar – the big question that becomes more and more difficult as the children get older.
Do you need a present every day? Or is it enough to have something nice on hand on Sundays too?
Useful things make more sense than odds and ends. It is also very practical to divide up a set, e.g. a pack of crayons, a Lego kit, a handicraft set, special marbles, wooden blocks …
There are also things that are consumed. First and foremost, of course, a sweet, but also tea, small snacks, bath pearls or the like.
