And although it is said far too often that palm or coconut blossom sugar is not so good for baking, we now offer you three festive recipes with coconut blossom sugar!

A good idea is to mix the palm sugar with table sugar to make the Christmas cookies nice and tasty
Christmas cookies with healthy coconut blossom sugar
ingredients: 1 egg, 220 g coconut blossom sugar, 110 g butter, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 200 g wholemeal flour, 150 g dark chocolate
preparation: Beat the egg and sugar until creamy, then add the flour, butter, baking powder and grated chocolate. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees circulating air and spread the batter evenly on the baking tray lined with baking paper using either a piping bag or a spoon. Leave enough space between each cookie and bake until golden brown.
Butter cookies with coconut blossom sugar
ingredients: 130 g spelled flour, 60 g coconut blossom sugar, 75 g butter, 5 g vanilla pulp, 2 tbsp water
preparation: Process all the ingredients into a dough and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough and cut out any shapes. Bake at 175 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Indonesian Pineapple Cookies (Kue Nastar)
In Indonesia, people certainly don’t ask themselves whether the coconut blossom sugar is healthy, but accept it gratefully. Our third recipe is from Indonesia, just like the sugar we made on the subject itself.
ingredients: 200g wheat flour, 25g cornstarch, 75g icing sugar, 1 pinch vanilla powder, 1 pinch salt, 1 pinch turmeric, 200g cold butter, 1 egg yolk
filling: 200g pineapple pulp, 1-2 tbsp palm sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 5 cloves, 1 star anise
If you dose the sweetness correctly, you can believe that coconut blossom sugar is healthy.
preparation: Make the dough from the ingredients listed, wrap in cling film and refrigerate.
Simmer the pineapple with the spices for 10 minutes, add sugar to taste and also allow to cool.
Roll out the dough and spread with the pineapple mixture. You can glue the biscuits together, fill them or simply spread them and take an exotic and very Christmassy journey to the island of Java.
