COLORFUL ROSES & SKIMMIA
The colors of the “Cottage Colors” bouquet remind us of an English cottage in winter – the red, orange and pink roses meet a delicate, light green of the Skimmia. Take a mental excursion to the country and enjoy the play of colors of the BLOOMEN of the week at home or in the office. Find out more about our short-stemmed flowers of the week here.

Roses have been the queen of flowers for many years and centuries. In the meantime they even have their own science: rhodology, which examines (depending on your opinion) 100-250 different types of roses. We have already done this for you so that you can enjoy the flowers directly and not have to remove the thorns first. Simply cut the flowers diagonally and as long as possible with a sharp knife so that they can more easily absorb the water. You can find more information and care instructions here.
Skimmia is a rather unusual and not so well known species and belongs to the diamond family. It originally comes from East Asia (mainly Japan, Korea and China) and occurs there as a plant up to 7 meters high. Their appearance gives elegant bouquets the finishing touch and they are also very easy to care for – just cut them straight again before you put them in fresh water. You can find more information about Skimmia here.
Our vase recommendation for “Cottage Colors”
The short-stemmed combination “Cottage Colors” looks best in a sufficiently high vase with a slightly wider opening.
We wish you a wonderful week with the flowers!
