It is also a very nice gesture to send a piece of the wedding cake to each of the guests who were unable to attend.

For their two-day wedding with an English touch, the two Hamburgers invited Jessica and Ronny to a romantic castle in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Let yourself be inspired by lovely details and a great ambience.

The charming wedding car alone is worth marveling at from all sides! But you will also like the creative implementation of one of the typical English wedding customs. Here we go …

Civil marriage

On Fridays, Jessica and Ronny from Hamburg started their life together with the civil wedding. Jessica and Ronny chose the beautiful Schloss Frauenmark in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as the backdrop for their dream wedding.

In addition to the great organization, the castle, in which no two rooms are alike, also impressed with its rooms. The old English tea salon and the fireplace room were the ideal surroundings for the wedding photos and thus underlined the individual history of the wedding couple, who lived together in England / London for a long time.

Free outdoor wedding ceremony

The free wedding ceremony followed on Saturday in the Italian garden of Schloss Frauenmark with an evening celebration in the orangery. Friends and family of the couple were invited, a total of about 80 people. This time the bride wore a fairytale long wedding dress with a train for the free ceremony.

Shortly before the wedding, the bride still had time for a cell phone selfie. And when the lacing of the wedding dress did not work, the photographer jumped in and lashed the straps. 1632424766 654 English wedding in the castle 2 charming photo stories - English wedding in the castle | 2 charming photo stories with many inspirations

English wedding: the wedding custom

Many little things made the English wedding an eye-catcher – for example, the bride adapted the English wedding custom “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe”: The soles of her wedding shoes were painted bright blue and decorated with a lucky coin. The bride implemented this unusual idea herself, using glitter spray paint (from the craft supplies) and superglue to fix the coin in place. You can read more in our article “Top 10 ideas for” Something Blue “.

Despite the elaborate design of the wedding, the atmosphere with the couple and their guests was always relaxed and exuberant. All’s well that ends well – and so the English wedding at the fairytale castle ended with sparklers and a little firework, just like in a fairy tale.

The parties

The wonderful pictures come from the versatile Wedding photographer Anne Hufnagl from Hamburg.

She travels to weddings in Hamburg, Bremen and Northern Germany and attaches great importance to natural, undisguised photo reports: “It is particularly important to me that the chemistry between the wedding couple and me as a photographer is right, because this is the only way to really get close and of course take pictures of the people. In addition to wedding photography, I also work as a photographer in the field of fashion and beauty for magazines and catalogs, and I think it’s nice to be able to keep an open eye and a lot of fun at work thanks to this variety (wedding reports vs. strongly staged fashion photos). ”

From an enchanting wedding dress to a befitting wedding car – a Rolls Royce – to an elegant four-tier wedding cake, this wedding in England by Sarah and Andrew in the historic Farnham Castle is a wonderful inspiration for those who like the English style.

Wedding colors: dusty pink, copper and gold.

The elegant bride with her bridesmaids

Sarah actually had to try on around 100 wedding dresses to find her perfect wedding dress. But finally she succeeded! Her mother and five patient bridesmaids in copper-colored dresses stood by her all the time. For shoe fan Sarah, bright blue Manolo Blahniks had to be an eye-catcher under the chic dress and made for a great photo when getting out of the wedding car.

The wedding ceremony for a proper wedding in England

80 guests were invited to the romantic ceremony and marveled at the bride and groom during the wedding and when they left the church for the classic Mendelssohn’s Wedding March. This beautiful melody eventually turned into “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles, Sarah’s father’s favorite song.

A Rolls Royce as a wedding car

Which wedding car is the only option when getting married in England? A Rolls Royce, of course! Discreetly but elegantly adorned, he drove the bride and groom to the castle in a grand manner.

Flowery decoration for getting married in England

Farnham Castle was a great location for this wedding in England, where the decor was appropriately gold. A large mirror served as the seating plan and so that the guests at their round tables could look each other in the eye, the flower arrangements were placed high on stilts made of birch branches.

The seating cards: A small wooden stand with a polaroid of the guest – very personal and unusual.1632424767 269 English wedding in the castle 2 charming photo stories - English wedding in the castle | 2 charming photo stories with many inspirations

Elegant and radiant: the wedding cake

A bright, four-tier wedding cake was one of the big highlights of the evening. It was provided with the initials of the bride and groom and also decorated with great floral decorations. For the travel-loving couple, there was also a world map as a cake decoration.
