This recipe for orange and chocolate cookies is child’s play and super tasty too! Dough, refrigerator, oven – all without tedious rolling out and cutting out.
As is well known, biscuits always go, so come on with the aromatic things, the next lunchtime low needs to be compensated for.

Shopping list for the fine orange and chocolate cookies
For a batch of biscuits, which are roughly two filled storage jars from our shop, you need these ingredients:
- 300g flour
- 100g fine sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 150g butter in small cubes from the fridge
- 2 teaspoons of orange paste or orange flavor
- 3 tbsp chocolate droplets
This is how the orange biscuits are made:
Put all ingredients together in the food processor and mix with the dough hook. But only until it has become a homogeneous, firm dough. This can also be done manually, it just takes a little longer.
Then halve the amount of dough and form two ‘sausages’ out of it. The diameter should be about 5cm.
Wrap the dough sausages in cling film and park in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection or lower-top heat does not matter). Unpack the dough sausages and quickly cut into slices approx. 1/2 cm thick. Place these on a baking sheet (with parchment paper, of course) and bake for 10 minutes.
Take it out, let it cool down and try it right away! Although I think that the aroma only really develops after a few days …
