From May to late autumn there is a lot of fresh fruit on the farmers’ market. Cherries, strawberries, peaches and plums always taste good! The fruits can also be used for various summer desserts. An example of this is a delicious strawberry cake that is actually one of the most popular fruit cakes in summer. The strawberry cake is a classic from grandma’s time and remains popular to this day. Of course there are different preparation options for this fresh dessert, but all recipes contain fresh strawberries (sometimes cut into small pieces) and a juicy batter. You can bake the strawberry cake either on the sheet or in a round baking pan. The summer delicacy is often served with whipped cream, which increases the taste even further. The cake can also be prepared with vanilla or chocolate pudding. The combination of juicy soil, vanilla pudding and sugar-sweet strawberries make the cake just irresistible! The preparation is fairly simple and the baking time is approx. 35-40 minutes (depending on the ingredients used). After baking, the even better part of the preparation comes – decorating the strawberry cake! Here you can take your imagination into play!
