I am so happy that it is finally going towards summer. With the best recipes, barbecues on the terrace and fresh strawberries. Delicious strawberry cake is being baked here every weekend. And I’ve known this cake since childhood – at that time we always prepared it without pudding. Today I just love him so much with pudding and strawberries. The station wagon is simply the blast. Now that the strawberry era is in full swing, we regularly have strawberry cake. This simple fruit base is perfect for delicious cakes on the weekend, while the strawberry season has just started.

The most important ingredients for your strawberry cake with vanilla pudding

✔️ Flour

I bake with wheat flour, you can also use spelled flour or gluten -free flour.

2️⃣ Bake fruit baking

Put the eggs together with the sugar in a mixing bowl and beat everything really foamy for at least 10 minutes – this is important so that the floor later becomes airy.

Sieve flour and baking powder and carefully lift them – preferably with a dough scraper. Finally, stir the liquid butter gently.

Put the dough in the prepared shape and smooth it out. Then you bake the floor for about 15-20 minutes. He should be golden yellow and springs back slightly when you press your finger on it.

Then let the floor cool down completely in the mold and only then fell carefully. If necessary, you can drive along the edge with a knife.

3️⃣ Apply chocolate

If you like, spread the cooled floor with a thin layer of melted chocolate coating – white or dark, just as you like. The chocolate prevents the soil from softening. Let them become good before continuing.

4️⃣ Cooking vanilla pudding

Put the pudding powder together with 2 tablespoons of sugar directly into a saucepan and stir it smoothly with the entire milk – the milk should be cold.

Then slowly heat the mixture with constant stirring. Take time – it takes a while, but there are no lumps.

As soon as the pudding thickens, take it from the stove and cover it directly with cling film. So no skin forms.

5️⃣ Spread the strawberries on the cake

Delet the cooled pudding evenly on the floor. Wash the strawberries and halve or quarter them. Then you put them side by side (or crisscross) on the pudding.

6️⃣ Prepare cake casting (optional)

If you want to use a cast, stir it with 2 tablespoons of sugar according to the package instructions – clear or red, just as you want. Distribute the pouring by the strawberries and then put the cake cold for at least 30 minutes so that it becomes nice and firm.
