Spiral albums are tied in the form of a spiral using a specially twisted wire. You may have noticed that the diameter of the spiral on a new spiral album often looks oversized and this actually doesn’t fit the ratio of the thickness of the album.
But it has to be. Because when you start, the album with pictures and small accessories in the form of Stickers, tickets or other memories you will quickly notice how the album increases in height.
The punching is what counts with the spiral album!
If you look closely, you can see that the punching of the holes for the spiral is not round, but slightly oval. This makes scrolling through the album a lot easier. In the case of round holes, the sides would first tear over time and then, in the worst case, tear out as well.
Many sizes and formats!
A spiral album comes in many different formats:
From small 20 x 24 cm to large 30 x 36 cm. The albums are particular suitable for completed series, for giving away and of course for collecting at home. Another advantage, the spiral albums lie completely flat when leafing through on the table and don’t fold up again quickly.

Many of our customers therefore always like to fall back on a spiral album, because the look is just trendy and the range of color choices leaves little to be desired. However, if I turn a spiral album into one festive theme and elegant I make sure to choose an album with a hidden spiral.
Time to start
Now that we know a lot about the theory of spiral albums, the real fun begins. The design and pasting of the individual pages. Your pages will get really personal when you add handwritten notes (see tip) and bring in accessories.
These little eye-catchers remind you again and again of wonderful experiences from that time. Do not use the individual pages sparingly, but be generous with the distribution of space. Just start, you will quickly notice that you will get more and more ideas for creative design in no time at all. I hope you really enjoy it!
My TIP for you:
If you have a beautiful handwriting, you can start right away with colored decorative painters. Otherwise it is possible to produce the texts on the PC and print them out in mirror image. Then copy the text using tracing paper and a pencil. Now you turn the tracing paper over and rewrite the text. The pencil line is now transferred to the paper. Finally, you can rewrite the text in color with a painter.
