Ceasar Salad – a popular salad worldwide

The Caesar Salad is popular all over the world and is often eaten. This is a high -calorie and good -tasting side dish that you eat with meat and potatoes. Its creation is converted by various stories. Today, however, it is clear that this salad has nothing in common with the well -known Roman general Caius Julius Caesar. The salad was invented by an Italian emigrant named Cesare Cardini in the 1920s. Cardini first opened a restaurant in California, but during the prohibition he went to Mexico, where the alcohol bar was legal. Many Americans visited the Mexican city of Tijuana on the border between the USA and Mexico to consume alcohol again. On July 4, 1924, Cesare Cardini offered the restaurant visitors a new salad, actually with the ingredients he had in the restaurant. That was a new salad in the menu and he was called Ceasar Salad. The salad has been changed over time, today it scores with its calorie -rich ingredients. The classic Caesar Salad consists of Roman salad, parmes bans, garlic croutons and the typical Caesar dressing. The dressing actually made the salad popular. It is mixed from egg yolk, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and dijonsenf. The classic Caesar Salad still includes anchovies and croutons roasted in garlic oil. Today you serve the popular salad either with a shrimp or with fried chicken breast. You add avocado, tomatoes or cucumbers as desired. This is how the Caesar Salad tastes best!
