Anyone who has been reading this blog for many years will remember my great passion for high heels (“there are plenty of proof pictures here, for example”). If there was a particular object of desire on my wish list, it was usually a shoe with a heel that was way too high.
The thing with XXL high heels changed radically during our trip around the world. Sure, of course I still like nice shoes and I still like wearing high heels – just not as often as I used to. And certainly not with this dizzying heel height anymore.
What am I actually getting at? In the past, my fashion investment pieces were almost always shoes, but now bags have become my biggest accessory passion.
At this point we certainly don’t need to talk about how long a timeless, high-quality bag will last compared to a pink trendy high heel and that there are many bag models that are actually considered an investment. A beautiful bag is always a good investment and depending on the color, shape and material, even a single model can become an “all day, every day” companion.

PS: In particular, we can wear a high-quality model made of brown leather all year round, and it goes just as well with a cozy knitted sweater and a dark green coat as it does with an airy, light summer dress with a floral print.
