The ‘party dog’ was the inspiration for this 9th birthday decoration. Here the personalized cake topper, the birthday candle plate with the name engraving and the T-shirt with the ‘birthday child’ print are combined with beautiful pastel colours. The balloon garland is an absolute eye-catcher!

Which motto for the 9th birthday?
Well, it’s been easier in recent years. At the age of 4 we celebrated like the ice princess. With 5 the horse birthday. At six the llama, at seven the animal party and the eighth was the farm party.
The older the children get, the less the celebration is based on a motto and the more the activities come to the fore.
The birthday decorations must not be forgotten under any circumstances, otherwise the faces are long, but slowly you wish for something cool. So mom, do it… phew, not that easy!
The party dog was my rescue! This cute guy was the inspiration for an individual and timeless birthday decoration.

Personalized Cake Topper ‘Party Dog’
I’m really not a big cake baker. A good sponge cake, some pieces of fruit and nice decoration – the birthday cake is ready!
For this cake I made it particularly easy for myself: A baking mix plus frozen blueberries are baked in a small, higher cake pan (I always like to use this 20cm baking pan – affiliate link). This simply results in a beautiful format in which the cake topper comes into its own.
I melt the white couverture in a water bath and let it run onto the cake so that small amounts of it flow down the sides of the cake.
Insert the toppers as long as the chocolate is still liquid, they would tear later!
Finally, various crumbles and fizzy eufos are added.

Table decoration: Casual pastel look with 2 highlights
The casual, cheerful decoration is also continued on the table. A table runner made of raffia in the middle creates a relaxed boho look. I simply scattered the eufoos that weren’t needed for the cake as edible confetti.
There are two eye-catchers on the table: the standee with the year and the candle plate with the name engraved. Both elements can be used again every year. The numbers in the display can be exchanged and the candle plate is timeless. A really nice decoration for the 9th birthday!
The guests are also thought of: small gifts in jute bags (sweets, stamps, stickers and bracelets) went home as gifts. The party dog can also be found on the gift tags (engraved with his name).

Absolute highlight: the balloon garland in pastel colors
Sometimes you can go big instead of making a mess: the balloon garland looks so great! Beautiful pastel colors provide the perfect setting for gifts and unforgettable birthday photos with friends and family.
How do you like this decoration for the 9th birthday? Without a motto but with a lot of love?
