A fruity twist on a classic
Matcha Tiramisu, Mango Tiramisu and now our favorite variant: Strawberry Green Tea Tiramisu. The ladyfingers are dipped in a highly concentrated green tea and strawberry juice blend that gives the dessert a fresh, tart flavor boost. Then we dust the tiramisu with freeze-dried strawberry powder.
You can use both fresh and frozen strawberries for this recipe
General Tips
Use a piping bag to spread the mascarpone layer. How to get even layers!
Place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight. This allows the ladyfingers to soften and soak up all of the strawberry juice. Better texture and better taste!
Reduce the strawberry puree thoroughly for a stronger flavor. Be sure to include the lemon juice, as this will accentuate the strawberry flavor.
The whipping cream must be cold so that it can be fully whipped.
Frozen strawberries are great for this recipe. For example, you could use raspberries, mango and even blueberries too!
Other berries are also suitable for the recipe
Finally
The preparation of this dessert is quite simple, but the result is amazing. The recipe comes together in 30 minutes, but you can make it ahead of time to give it enough chilling. We tested it this past summer and it was the perfect dessert on a hot day. It’s cool, fresh and fruity. What else can you wish for?
