Actually always, but especially after the pandemic, we celebrate life. Being together with the people who are important to us. Talking, eating, laughing, drinking – that’s all you need.
If it should be a little special, for example for a 40th birthday, the decoration can also be more eye-catching.
Julia wanted a Mediterranean garden party for her 40th birthday. Family and closest friends came together at Fleckschen Gut in Leipzig. Incidentally, a great tip for exceptionally beautiful holiday apartments in Leipzig!
The wonderful inner courtyard was the scene of the happy group in which family and closest friends gathered.
It should be summery, Mediterranean and tasty. And have a moment of surprise for the guests. I would say it was successful!
Summer table decoration with fresh lemons
Anyone can do this table decoration: Different garden tables form a long table, with all sorts of chairs. A simple table runner made of beige linen unites the whole and creates the basis for the summer decoration.
Tip: Decide on materials and colors that you will use again and again. In this way, the Tischeko becomes an overall concept that can be played anywhere.
Linen, lemons, rich yellows, natural colors and wood. The table, the limoncello bar and the cake buffet are decorated with these elements. Simple but so beautiful!
Pillar candles in deep yellow bring color to the table. Combine them with small lanterns to create atmospheric lighting accents.
Individual lemons are added loosely. Herb pots always look casual, instead of flowers they are on the table.
A personal welcome: individual place card
Take a seat, we are happy that you are here! With a personal reservation card, the guest feels welcome and valued. You like to read your own name and to feel that the host has thought about it is incredibly beautiful and special.
We have different place cards in our shop. The wooden cards are individually engraved with the name. Go perfectly with the lemon look of the table!
Birthday cake with individual cake topper
A birthday without a cake? That doesn’t work at any age! We have come up with a special topper for the 40th birthday garden party: the cheerful ‘Happy Birthday Julia’ seems to float above the cake.
The cake topper ‘Julia’ is made individually with the desired name and is an absolute eye-catcher on the buffet!

Something different: The Limoncello Bar
A gin bar to mix yourself is nothing new. But such a delicious limoncello spritz, wonderfully refreshing and not too sweet, has not been drunk that often. And mostly not yet mixed yourself.
The Limoncello Bar is therefore a real highlight for your guests!
All you need is a good limoncello, we like to drink Gustini’s, tonic water, mint, ice cubes and lemon wedges. Voilà, the Mediterranean drinks bar at the garden party for the 40th birthday is ready!
There’s something to eat: salads and antipasti
We have cakes and drinks, but what is there to eat in the evening? First of all, different antipasti as a starter. These can be prepared very well and satisfy the first hunger. Distributed on large boards and trays, everyone helps himself as he likes.
Then the grill is started. Delicious salads are already waiting at the bar. How do they go with the theme? Try the bread salad or the fruity spinach salad!
All variants with pasta and pesto, a bean and fennel salad also add pep to the salad buffet!
